DT Economics recently joined the Communications and Regulatory Authority (CRA) in Doha to kick-off the review of the ICT Competition Framework. Sean Kennedy, Partner and Chief Operating Officer, presented DT Economics’ planned review of the ex-ante framework covering the telecommunications sector in Qatar.
Commenting on the event, Sean Kennedy said that “The MDDD review will be focused on reviewing and updating the previous MDDD analysis (last done in 2016) with the latest regulatory and competition analysis on ex-ante market reviews. In particular, we, alongside our partners, Squire Patton Boggs and Perfect Consulting, will be looking to incorporate international leading practice on market reviews along with aligning our economic analysis with the broader strategic objectives of the CRA and the State of Qatar.
