Appointment to the Financial Conduct Authority

DT Economics is proud to announce that one of its partners, David Thomas, has been appointed as a member of the Competition Decision Committee (CDC) at the Financial Conduct Authority. The CDC exercises certain decision-making powers in competition law investigations on behalf of the FCA. It decides whether there has been a competition law infringement and whether to impose a financial penalty in respect of an infringement, other than in settlement cases.
