Sean is a regulatory economics specialist with over 30 years of wide-ranging international commercial and regulatory experience in public and private sectors.
He has a sophisticated knowledge of economic frameworks in a regulatory context complemented by a solid grounding in micro-economic policy and applied research. He has published extensively on telecoms and digital public policy issues and is often asked to present at conferences on regulatory matters in digital and communications markets.
Prior to joining DT Economics, Sean held senior roles at CEG-Europe, KPMG, Mott Macdonald, Ovum, Orange (UK) and Vodafone (Australia, New Zealand and at Group Headquarters in the UK). He also worked for the Treasury in New Zealand and Australia.
Sean's clients include GSMA, Vodafone Group, BNet (Bahrain), Ooredoo Group, eir (Ireland), Hong Kong Telecom, BT, Digicel, Eaton Towers, Smile Telecoms (South Africa), e& (UAE), MTS, and Vimpelcom (VEON) as well as Communications regulators including Ofcom (UK), ComReg (Ireland), CST (Saudi Arabia), CRA (Qatar), TRA (Bahrain), ICASA (South Africa), NCC (Nigeria) and CICRA (Channel Islands). He has also advised Royal Mail in the UK.
He is Vice Chair of the International Institute of Communications (IIC) UK Chapter and former Global Board Director and Treasurer (www.iicom.org).
