Chiara Garbellini is a London-based Principal Consultant at DT Economics. Chiara advises clients across industries, with a focus on network companies operating in the telecoms, payments and energy sectors. She has worked directly with company boards and their advisors to respond to regulations and policies.

 

Prior to joining DT Economics, Chiara was a Director in FTI Consulting’s Economic and Financial Consulting practice, where she advised clients on regulatory and competition issues in the context of market reviews and new regulatory proposals, with particular focus on the assessment of regulatory risk and revenue modelling for regulated assets. Chiara also previously worked as an Economist at GSMA, where she provided internal economic consulting and research on a variety of public policy and regulatory issues, particularly in the areas of spectrum and mobile money. This included econometric modelling and collaboration with both mobile operators and academic experts worldwide.

 

Chiara holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, with specialist areas of study covering industrial organisations and cartels, and a BSc in Economics, Management and Finance from Bocconi University in Milan.
