Carina has more than 15 years of experience in economic consulting, during which she has specialised in competition economics and regulated industries. Her main areas of expertise are cartel cases, abuse of dominance and state aid. 

Carina assists competition lawyers and their clients with damage assessments in cartel cases and economic or financial analysis required in other competition cases. She works on major European cartel disputes and is also experienced in quantifying damages caused by cartels to indirect customers. 

Prior to her association with DT Economics, Carina was a Manager in PwC´s Strategy & Economics team in the Netherlands, where she specialised in state aid, regulation and competition economics. She assisted public and private clients putting complex rules and regulations into practice and conducted economic and financial analysis required to prove compliance.
