Ross is a regulatory economist. As part of the team, he provides a range of quantitative analysis, has developed financial models, and has given advice on competition and wider regulation issues, across various regulated utilities markets. He has consulted for regulators, operators, retailers, asset managers, accounting firms and industry organisations.
Before joining DT Economics in 2021, Ross worked within the water industry in a strategy and economic regulation team. He was heavily involved in the production of a strategic long-term capital maintenance calculation of the asset base, exploratory research on operational performance metrics as well as investment appraisal.
Ross holds a BA Hons in Accounting from Edinburgh Napier University and an MSc in Financial Risk Management from the University of Glasgow.
