Patrick is a London-based regulatory consultant. As part of the DT Economics team, he consults on competition and regulation issues in the telecommunications sector.
Prior to joining DT Economics, Patrick practised regulatory law in Australia where he advised on, and prepared, applications and commercial agreements for a wide range of clients in various regulated industries. This included: providing advice on competition law issues with certain commercial agreements; providing recommendations to the government on existing laws in a regulated industry; engagement in regular consultations with numerous government departments and authorities to address any regulatory or wider community concerns regarding his clients’ applications for certain licences required to operate their businesses; and securing a range of complex licensing applications, including a licence over significant government infrastructure.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce degree with First Class Honours in Economics.
